Terms of Use
Last updated 8 October 2026
1. The service and applicable terms
Farlink lets you access files on your own devices and exchange messages and files with contacts and members of your networks. Comparing verification numbers helps you verify a contact’s identity; accepting a request does not by itself establish that you have verified the person.
Farlink is provided by the developer identified on its App Store listing. Contact: flyoz@vk.com.
Your licence to use the App Store application is governed by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These terms supplement that licence with rules for using Farlink’s service; they do not replace it. Apple handles App Store purchases, billing, refunds and subscription management under Apple’s applicable purchase and media-services terms.
By using the Farlink service you agree to these service terms. Nothing here removes rights you have under mandatory law.
2. Your account and devices
Your account is created on your device using cryptographic keys rather than a Farlink password. Keep your devices and recovery key secure. If you lose access to every device and to your recovery key, Farlink cannot restore access to the account.
Recovering access to an account is not a backup of its files, contact book or message history. Content that is unavailable from your devices or existing copies cannot be recreated by entering a recovery key.
You can delete your account in Settings → Account → Delete Account. The Privacy Policy explains deletion processing, retained records and its limits. Account deletion does not cancel an App Store subscription.
3. Your content and acceptable use
You keep your rights in the files and messages you share. You must have the right to send the content and are responsible for your use of the service. Farlink’s delivery servers cannot decrypt ordinary end-to-end encrypted content, but Farlink can read text voluntarily submitted in a report or support email.
Do not use Farlink to distribute illegal, abusive or objectionable content, including child sexual abuse or exploitation material, threats of violence, hateful harassment, non-consensual intimate content or content that infringes another person’s rights. Do not use the service for fraud, impersonation, unsolicited spam, stalking, malware distribution or attacks on people, devices or services.
These rules apply to messages, files, contact requests and network communications. Encryption does not exempt anyone from these rules or from applicable law.
4. Reporting, blocking and enforcement
You can report a contact from Contact Info or report a received contact message with its Report action. These reports are submitted to Farlink. Reports about Mail within a network are sent to eligible administrators of that network. If no eligible administrator is available, or the concern is about the network or service itself, email flyoz@vk.com with “Farlink safety report” in the subject.
You can block a contact in the app. Network Mail also provides sender blocking; the app explains the scope of each action. Blocking and reporting do not recall copies of content already received by other people.
For violations of these terms we reserve the right, subject to applicable law, to restrict or suspend access to Farlink’s service. Safety handling can use the information provided in a report, public account information and available service metadata. It does not give us a key to inspect other end-to-end encrypted conversations or files. We cannot remotely remove copies already saved on another person’s device.
We aim to review reports submitted directly to Farlink within 72 hours of receipt, and to reply to email in the same period. This is a review and response target, not a guarantee that an investigation will be completed within 72 hours. Network administrators handle reports addressed to their networks independently.
Farlink is not an emergency service. If someone is in immediate danger, contact the appropriate local emergency service.
5. Plans, subscriptions and purchases
Farlink includes a free allowance for traffic forwarded through Farlink’s servers. Direct connections do not use that server-traffic allowance. Relay provides an additional server allowance. Teams is purchased by a network administrator as a seat pack for a particular network, not as an unrestricted subscription for every network or all personal contact traffic.
Relay and Teams are auto-renewable App Store subscriptions offered for the billing periods shown in the app, including monthly and annual options. Before you confirm a purchase, the purchase screen shows the product, the included service or seat pack, the billing period and the total price payable for that period. A monthly equivalent shown for an annual price is not a separate monthly payment.
Apple charges your Apple Account for purchases and renewals under the terms shown at purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel them in your Apple Account subscription settings. Cancelling renewal does not by itself request a refund.
Use Restore Purchases in Farlink to restore eligible App Store purchases. Deleting your Farlink account or uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription. Apple handles App Store refund requests under its applicable terms; mandatory consumer rights are not excluded.
6. Availability, delivery and changes
Service availability and delivery depend on device connectivity, server availability and applicable allowances. Farlink’s queues are for temporary delivery, not a permanent backup. Delivery expiry, cleanup and retention are described in the Privacy Policy.
We may change the service, but changes to a paid service remain subject to applicable consumer law and the terms of the purchase. We will give notice where the law requires it. Nothing in this section removes any right to a remedy for a service that does not conform to the applicable contract.
7. Disclaimer and liability
To the extent the law allows, Farlink is provided “as is”, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss or for loss of data that exists only on your devices. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Applicable law and disputes
Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement governs the application licence, including its applicable-law provisions to the extent they apply. These service terms do not change Apple’s applicable terms or make Apple a party to a separate dispute about Farlink’s service.
For disputes about these service terms between you and the Farlink provider, the applicable law and competent courts are determined by the rules that apply to that dispute. We do not impose an exclusive foreign court through these service terms. Nothing here restricts mandatory consumer protections, any right to bring proceedings in your home jurisdiction, or your right to complain to a competent regulator.
9. Eligibility
Farlink is not intended for children under 13. Do not use the service if you are under 13 or below any higher age required for your use by applicable law. If parental or guardian authorisation is required, you must have it. The App Store age rating is a separate content classification and does not replace these requirements.
